This course is compulsory for master students in the Institute of Oceanography, and aims to introduce marine ecosystems and biology and answer biological questions with interdisciplinary skills on a wide range of spatial and temporal scales. The course includes the knowledge of marine environment, food webs, pelagic and coastal ecosystems, dee-sea and demersal ecosystems, conservation of marine resources, marine pollution, etc.
